Kitchen Stock

Receive complaints regarding kitchen stock or lack of it. Note to reprimand Olivia for not being vigilant on kitchen consumables.

Reassess kitchen stock. Compare spend on kitchen stock to annual canteen budget. Costs too high. Remove chocolate spread, three types of herbal tea, ground coffee (replace with instant – caffeinated and decaffeinated), remove sweetner, remove brown sugar, substitute chunky peanut butter for smooth, remove low fat margarine, eliminate skimmed and full fat milk, cut bread order in half, remove whole grain bread. Replace all consumables from branded names to supermarket own brand. Calculate saving. Inform MD of saving. Inform Olivia of changes. Send out immediate allstaffer detailing Kitchen Stock Policy.

Receive replies complaining at variety. Reiterate Kitchen Stock Policy. Additional items must be purchased by individual. Individual is responsible for item. No liability for loss, perish or disposal will lie with company for additionally purchased items. Remind said individuals of Fridge Policy circulated last week.

Remaining Olivia feedback received. Record time. “Could be smarter.” “No improvement.” Make note of could be smarter add to appraisal notes. Begin to formulate appraisal feedback. Confirm time for Olivia’s appraisal with Olivia. Confirm room booking for Olivia’s appraisal with Olivia. Include smiley face in email - :-) – remove smiley face. Could give wrong impression.
