Office Move

Company expansion. More effective use of space required. Departments to integrate. Form more efficient cohesive working environment. Check dimensions of available and used office space. Factor in minimum space per person. 75mtresq. Calculate space required for furniture. Space for printers. Fire and Evacuation routes.

Side note to devote afternoon to planned full emergency evacuation drill.

Begin space allocation formula. Take head count of company and convert each head(person) to be a percentage of company. Allocate head count percentages to departments. Work out percentage of departments in relation to overall percentage of company. Contrast percentage of space related to 75sqft minimum space allocated per person to percentage per department. Allocate percentage of space to department. Apply space percentage allocation to measurements on floor plans. Construct scale drawings of new floor layout. Create three further alternative floor layouts. Include formula for due diligence. Work out rough estimates for move. Work out rough estimates for refurbishment and additional furniture. Build timeline for each alternate floor layouts.

Send immediate email to Managing Director with four alternate floor plans for space/person allocation. Include pros of each. Include cons of each. Make recommendations on most effective. Rate each alternative.
